Monday 13th September

A day of randomness really where nothing goes as planned but it still remains beautifully comfortable to be at J's side the whole day - even for a day of whatever whatever :) Went to Richmond after a failed attempt to visit the Walk in Clinic (my MSP has expired as my work permit has not arrived yet). My cough and cold have lasted well over three weeks now and my body is starting to get a little tired but hey, CIC have decided treatment is not quite due just yet. We then had a Thai lunch in Richmond which was unexpectedly yummy. It was one of those random restaurant risks that paid off - yay us! :)

We then went to have a look at some carpentry designed by someone who is a potential Carpenter for a cot for the nursery. He showed us a fire engine toy box which was awesomely cool. We'll definately be getting a paddle done in the very near future and will start saving for a cot very soon. Maybe I'll actually get a decent nights sleep once J has a cot to sleep in....hmm....maybe not for a while though, he'll be too excited! :) Anyways, after the brief woodwork interlude we went down to Steveston to The Diplomat Bakery which was scrummy. I went with my reliably standard Chai Tea Latte and not so standard Chocolate eclaire - it did not disappoint. Chomp num, num, num ;)

I then persuaded a reluctant boy to make a brief fruit and veg pit stop. Whilst we may be overspending on our groceries budget it's nice to be persistently putting good quality foods into our bodies even if we are still putting a little too much of it in! After some gaming (my reign at Squishy Chocolate and s**t head seems to have come to an abrupt end) and drinks in Richmond we came home to Pog who as always was super happy to see us. We decided against the cinema and instead had an evening in with J making slow cooked Chicken.

Not our most action packed day but as always time with my boy is always well spent. I promise this will get more interesting even if I have just promised not to promise anymore! :op
